Thank you for leaving your mark on this remarkable forty-year journey and for contributing to the legacy of the Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition.
Returning to Ambiente this year with innovative coating technologies tailored to industrial needs, Akcoat attracted attention with its innovative products and environmentally responsible solutions.
Specializing in a broad range of areas including enamel, ceramic, glass, non-stick and decorative coatings, and pigments, Akcoat participated in Ambiente, one of the most important and comprehensive showcases for the cookware industry. Recognized as one of the world’s largest and most prestigious consumer goods and design fairs, Ambiente was held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 7–11 February 2025. Bringing together designers, manufacturers and business professionals each year, the event provided Akcoat with a platform not only to showcase products developed with the latest technologies, but also to highlight its sustainability-focused initiatives.
Describing Ambiente as a platform where Akcoat can present its full product portfolio at the same time, meet all stakeholders and hold productive discussions with potential customers, Akcoat Business Development Director Damla Köken expressed her satisfaction with the strong interest shown in the Akcoat stand. Köken said: “Taking part in Ambiente offers significant advantages both in terms of prestige and strengthening our relationships in international markets. While the fair provided a projection of the industry’s future, it was also highly inspiring in terms of innovative business ideas that can be developed. It is a major opportunity for us to gain greater visibility in the global market by presenting our innovative products and, at the same time, draw attention to an important topic such as sustainability through our solutions. We are pleased to engage directly with visitors and share our future projects.”
Environmentally Responsible Products Draw Attention
One of Akcoat’s standout products at Ambiente 2025 was CC2+ ceramic coating technology. Offering a breakthrough innovation for cookware, this advanced sol-gel ceramic coating delivers 3.5 times longer-lasting non-stick performance compared with standard coatings, taking the user experience to a new level. Its high scratch resistance facilitates both cooking and cleaning, while its fully inorganic structure offers an environmentally responsible solution. For manufacturers, low-temperature, short-cycle curing supports energy savings; for end users, high heat conductivity and even heat distribution promise an excellent cooking experience.
Another product group that stood out for Akcoat at the fair was enamel-coated cookware. With its natural, healthy and durable structure, enamel coatings provide a safe solution free from harmful substances. Their high heat resistance, superior scratch resistance and non-stick surface support long-lasting use in kitchens. In addition, their glass-like, smooth structure creates a hygienic surface that helps prevent bacterial adhesion.
