Chemical coating materials producer Akcoat has met the computer needs of 10 village schools in Kumluca, Antalya.

Akcoat provided laptops to students at Ziya Gökalp Boarding School, Gül-Çetin Kaur Anadolu High School, Beykonak Anadolu High School, 80th Year Beykonak Primary and Secondary School, Beykonak Sevim Öner Primary and Secondary School, Ahmet Avcıoğlu Primary and Secondary School, Şehit Hasan Öztürk Primary and Secondary School, Hacıvelilier Primary and Secondary School, Mimar Sinan Secondary School, and Mavikent Ramazan Abacı Secondary School.

The laptops were handed over by Akcoat’s Brand and Communications Manager, Batuhan Basalak, at a ceremony attended by Yusuf Tekdemir, Kumluca District National Education Director, Hidayet Kökce, President of the Kumluca Chamber of Agriculture, school principals, and students.

Supporting the Development of Future Scientists

Akcoat’s General Manager Veysi Küçük expressed happiness at addressing the students' computer needs, stating, “We were pleased to get to know Kumluca, which we consider as a pilot area for our R&D activities. During this process, we witnessed the computer shortages in many primary and secondary schools and evaluated what we could do about it. We contributed to supporting students’ education from all aspects and helping them become familiar with emerging technologies. In the coming period, we will host students interested in chemistry at the Akcoat R&D center to help them learn about the latest technologies and support the development of future scientists.”
