This year, at the 9th Export Stars Award Ceremony organized by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters' Association (IKMIB), chemical coating producer Akcoat was awarded second place in the 'Paint, Varnish, Ink Export' category for its export activities through its group company Ak-Pa.
Akcoat achieved another success with its export efforts through Ak-Pa. The 2023 Export Stars Award Ceremony, organized by IKMIB to honor and encourage member companies for their successful exports, took place on February 22, 2024, at the Çırağan Palace. At the 2023 Export Stars Award Ceremony, Ak-Pa, on behalf of Akcoat, won the second-place award in the 'Paint, Varnish, and Inks Export' category for its exports in 2023. With this award, Akcoat has added a new achievement in the first quarter of 2024.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) Mustafa Gültepe, IKMIB Board Chairman Adil Pelister, Akcoat Global Sales Director Ahmet Madenli, Ak-Pa General Manager Pelin Irgaç, and representatives of other award-winning companies. In the award ceremony, a total of 170 companies in the top 3 across 34 categories in the chemical sub-sectors and product groups received awards.
