In line with its vision of contributing to society’s sustainable development, Akcoat has added another initiative to its support for education by donating computers to Adapazarı Karakamış Primary School.
A subsidiary of Akkök Holding and a producer across a wide range of product groups including enamel, ceramic, glass, non-stick and decorative coatings, and pigments for nearly half a century, Akcoat continues to support education. Attaching importance to primary school students’ access to technology, the company continued the technology support programme it launched in 2022 and donated computers to Adapazarı Karakamış Primary School. The donation programme was attended by School Principal Hasan Çelik, Branch Manager Sedat Bezci and Branch Manager Soner Yılmaz from the Adapazarı District Directorate of National Education. Akcoat was represented by Marketing Manager Gülçin Göktürk, Human Resources Manager Sena Özgül, Corporate Communications Manager Batuhan Basalak and Information Systems Specialist Yunus Emre İmamoğlu.
Support for Education Continues
Supporting students’ development journeys and connecting them with next-generation technologies remains a strategic priority for Akcoat. Having provided computer support to many students to date and brought technology and education together, the company sees this project as a natural extension of its technology- and science-focused production vision. In the coming period, Akcoat aims to further expand its contributions to improving educational opportunities in the region and develop long-term projects that strengthen children’s access to technology.
