Towards a Green Future with Zero Waste: Akcoat's Committed Step in Responsible Production and Consumption
Akcoat has integrated the Zero Waste management philosophy into all its business processes as part of its sustainability strategy and has earned the "Zero Waste Certificate" as a result of these efforts. This achievement aims to use resources more efficiently, prevent waste, or ensure its recovery. Akcoat continues its efforts for a greener future with the principle of "Zero Waste, greener future!" without slowing down.
The Zero Waste Project, implemented in Turkey in 2017, aims to control waste management within the scope of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and leave a clean Turkey and a livable world for future generations. One of the 17 sustainable development goals set by the United Nations, "Responsible Production and Consumption," aims to significantly reduce waste generation by 2030 through prevention, reduction, recycling, and reuse.
The Zero Waste approach initially aims to prevent or reduce waste generation and subsequently ensure the recycling or recovery of the waste produced.
