The LIFE REPLAY project, funded by the European Union LIFE Program (Ref. LIFE20 ENV/ES/000115), suggests recycling heavy metal-based solid components and organic wastes for use in the ceramic industry. Coordinated by the Institute of Ceramic Technology (ITC-AICE) and involving KEROS CERAMICA, S.L., NEPTURY TECHNOLOGIES, S.L., AKCOAT RECUBRIMIENTOS QUÍMICOS ESPECIALIZADOS S.L.U, and CTR Centro de Tratamiento de Residuos del Mediterráneo SL, the project aims to demonstrate that waste ceramic inkjet inks can be reintegrated into the industrial ceramic process through a specific separation process that meets industrial requirements.

LIFE REPLAY introduces a new concept for reusing waste in the ceramic industry, proposing a new circular value chain for inkjet ink wastes.
