Happy Energy Efficiency Week, January 8th

At Akcoat, while maintaining our commitment to minimizing environmental impact at every step for a greener world, we meticulously monitor real-time energy consumption with our energy monitoring system and continue with determination to transform every detail of sustainability.

Our efforts in energy efficiency and sustainability are yielding tangible results through initiatives focused on enhancing efficiency at energy consumption points. We are optimizing energy consumption through modernization work on the furnace combustion system. As a result of these efforts, we achieved a transformation from 79% to 100% in the ceramic department and from 64% to 88% in the enamel department.

Effective utilization of furnace capacities, reduction of heat and product losses, zero waste and recycling efforts, and careful monitoring of consumption have led to a 19% improvement in natural gas consumption for pigment production.

As a result of these efforts, we have achieved an 18% reduction in all energy resources and a 20% reduction in natural gas consumption compared to the year the project started. At Akcoat, we are committed to using not only our production processes but also our energy resources in a sustainable and efficient manner, continuing to contribute to a greener future.
