Akcoat's Sustainability Workshop: Brewing Green Thoughts with Mugs

At Akcoat's R&D Center, the Ceramic Coatings Department hosted an impactful event highlighting how sustainability influences our daily lives. The event, titled "Mug Workshop," allowed Akcoat employees to turn their designs into reality, embedding sustainability messages onto mugs.

Department Specialist Fahriye Taşkıran explained that the event aimed to raise individuals' sustainability awareness and incorporate this mindset into their daily lives through personally designed mugs. These unique mugs, prepared using colorful glazes and special firing techniques, were produced in special sessions with employee participation.

Fahriye Taşkıran mentioned that the event was held during working hours and encouraged participation from different departments, creating a synergistic environment. "Taking a break from our hectic daily tasks, we took a fresh breath on sustainability," she said.
