Akcoat Supports International Water Conservation Policy

Akcoat became the first Turkish chemical company to sign the CEO Water Mandate Declaration by collaborating with the United Nations and other stakeholders to address the global water crisis. This step significantly contributes to Akcoat's sustainability efforts, which include producing five main product groups at its production facilities in Turkey and Spain: enamel, ceramic, non-stick decorative coatings, pigments, and glass coatings. The company emphasizes its support for water conservation policies and simultaneous water conservation efforts worldwide. Akcoat's General Manager expressed pride in being the first Turkish chemical company to sign the CEO Water Mandate Declaration, supporting the company's commitment to sustainability and water conservation policies. This initiative, part of the CEO Water Mandate launched by the business community in 2007, aims to set advanced targets for water management. Akcoat is committed to supporting the CEO Water Mandate's Water Security and Clean Water and Sanitation Sustainable Development Goals and endorsing best practices for the protection of water resources.
