Akcoat Continues Its Support for Education with Innovation Vision

Akcoat has donated 22 computers to Kazımpaşa Primary School and modernized the school's computer lab to support the development of future scientists.

Continuing its commitment to making a difference through social responsibility projects and fulfilling its obligations to the local community, Akcoat is advancing a project it started in 2022, believing in the importance of providing primary school students with access to technology. Viewing this project as part of its innovative perspective and technology-focused production vision, Akcoat recently donated 22 computers to Kazımpaşa Primary School in the Serdivan district of Sakarya. As part of the project, Akcoat also upgraded the existing computer lab to enhance its technical capacity. By strengthening young generations' connection with technology and science, Akcoat remains committed to supporting education and scientific advancements as key elements for societal and business progress.

At the ceremony where the computers were handed over, attended by Serdivan District Governor Ali Candan, District National Education Director Ali Dere, and Akcoat's HR Director Gonca Yonar, Supply Chain and IT Director Öznur İskefiyeli, IT Manager Serdar Yıldırım, HR Manager Sena Özgül, Marketing Manager Gulcin Göktürk, and Corporate Communications Manager Batuhan Basalak, the importance of such contributions was highlighted.

Serdivan District Governor Ali Candan remarked, 'We highly value the social responsibility projects undertaken by organizations in our city. We congratulate Akcoat for its continuous support to many schools in our city. We hope this example will inspire other organizations and individuals, reaching wider audiences and creating a positive transformation overall.'

Yonar also mentioned that, in alignment with Akcoat's vision to support future R&D efforts and scientists, upcoming projects will involve interactions between students and Akcoat employees, and students interested in chemistry will be hosted at the Akcoat R&D Center. She emphasized the importance of sustainable social responsibility projects and continued efforts to introduce young people to the latest technologies at an early stage.
